Studio History

Pole Divas Prahran was the first pole dancing school to be opened in Melbourne. It was opened in August 2004. Pole Divas Prahran operates an Aerial pole studio and a Spin pole studio opened in September 2007.

Studios at Pole Divas Prahran

Pole Divas Prahran has two studios. Our Aerial Studio offers static pole dancing courses as well as non pole workshops. Our Spin Studio offers both spin and static pole dancing courses and casual classes as well as non pole workshops.

  • Pole Divas Prahran offers both spin and static pole dancing courses from Beginners to Elite level, as well as development course including Showtime.
  • We also offer casual pole dancing classes including Pole Power and Pole Flex, plus our introductory class Polesations, Advanced Pole Power and Pole Power Spin.
  • We offer 4 week courses including a Spin Intensive and Pole Moves course. See our current timetable here. We offer Girls Night Out and special occasion functions. Our functions are the perfect way to celebrate with friends and Unleash your Inhibitions!

Poles at Pole Divas Prahran

The Aerial studio at Pole Divas Prahran has 13 poles, each are 48mm in size and made from Stainless Steel. These poles are 4 mtrs high. The Spin studio offers 11 poles, a mix of 45mm and 50mm Chrome X Poles. These poles are a min of 2.7 mtrs high, some are slightly higher.

Studio Facilities

At Pole Divas Prahran we have bathroom facilities in each studio. We also have large waiting areas in our studios, complete with couches and tables for girls to watch and relax from. Our studio shop is stocked full of Pole Divas merchandise, shoes, grips and poles. We have a large range of shorts, hot pants, skorts, singlets, t shirts and more! We also have a chilled water and drink fridge. Both of our studios are fully air conditioned.

Mon – Thurs: 10am – 9.30pm
Fri: 10am - 8.30pm
Saturday: 10am – 2pm (later if functions)
Sunday: 10am - 12midday

Public Transport directions to Pole Divas Prahran

  • From High Street: Tram number 6 takes you to the corner of High and Chapel Streets, from here the studio is less than a 5 minute walk. Get off the tram at either stop number 31 or 45 and walk down Chapel Street (away from Windsor), you will see an ANZ bank on the right, turn down here and the studio is at the end of this road.
  • From Richmond: Tram number 78 or 79 takes you up Chapel street, right outside Cecil Place.
  • From the CBD: Trains run frequently to Prahran Station. From the station, walk up Greville Street. When you hit Chapel Street, turn right and cross the road using the pedestrian crossing. On your right you will see an ANZ bank, turn into Cecil Place and the studio is at the end of this road.

Driving directions to Pole Divas Prahran

Pole Divas Prahran is located just off Chapel Street, in between High Street and Malvern/Commercial Road.

Parking facilities

There are plenty of parking options just outside the studio in Cecil Place. The open air car park outside the studio offers free 2 hour parking in white bays, or paid unlimited duration in yellow bays. White bays are unlimited duration after 4pm. Parking is also available on the street outside the studio, or on Chapel Street itself
