Strong is the new skinny!
We searched for the strongest female pole dancer in Victoria, in the challenge based Pole Power competition at the FitX Sports & Fitness Expo on March 17th & 18th.
Victoria’s strongest pole dancers battled it out in the FitX Pole Power Championship hosted by Pole Divas! Nine contestants proved their all over body strength through 4 tough rounds, until just one was left on the pole!
9 contestants… 3 poles… 1 WINNER...

These amazing feats of strength, agility and technical ability prove that it’s not just the men that have the power. This competition was especially designed to push the limits of the very best, and we witnessed the intensity as we discovered our Pole Power Champion for 2012!
The Pole Power Challenges
Want to see some amazing statistics from the Competition? How about these;
Front straddle to back hook - Miss Filly managed 23 repeats!
Alternate front straddles - Sally managed 7 repeats!
Shoulder mount (back pull-up) straight leg lifts - Miss Filly managed 15 repeats!
Jack knife - We had a three way tie with Miss Filly, Lou Landers & Lili all managing 14 repeats.
Outside leg hook climbs (Spider climbs) - Lauren and Lili both managed 11 repeats in a minute.
Incline push-ups - Miss Filly managed a whopping 27 in a minute!!
