We are so excited to bring back our Exotic Pole Dance Competition - FRISK! Our extremely sexy competition is open to both male and female pole dancers in Australia - FRISK is a National Social Competition.

COMPETITION DETAILS

When: Saturday 9th November, 2019

Where: Gasworks Art Park, 21 Graham St, Albert Park VIC 3206

Video entries will open Monday 9th September 2019 and will close Monday 23rd September 2019.

Tickets will go on sale Monday 1st October, 2019. Finalists will be announced on the same day via the FRISK Facebook page.

DIVISIONS

FRISK is open to Social Amateur 3, Social Semi-Pro and Social Professional competitors, both men and women. For more information on Australian Competition Eligibility Standards click here.

Solo Amateur
Solo Open (Semi Pro and Pro)

COMPETITION & VIDEO ENTRY DETAILS

1x pole on either spin or static (your choice)
2x human props are allowed (human props must have a valid show ticket to be a part of your show)
2.5 minutes for Amateur Division and 3 minutes for Open Division
Heels are optional
G-strings are permitted but not essential. No pasties.
Amateur must submit a video of the show they perform on the night. Open can submit a video of their choice that is the same genre.

JUDGING CRITERIA

FRISK is looking for exotic style performances that include one exciting and daring pole combination, lots of hot floor work & choreography and some interesting acro, all coming together to create a spellbinding show.
All props must be approved, and you can have up to 2 humans props.

Solo Judging Criteria
POLE COMBO (10 points) - Performance must include one outstanding pole combination that will be judged on level of difficulty, technique and effortlessness.
BASE/FLOOR WORK/ACRO (10 points) - Technique, fluidity and level of difficulty
DANCE (10 points) - Commitment to a sensual style and expression, technique, musicality
CONCEPT (10 points) - How well the theme, story line, music choices, character, use of props and costume all fit together to form an entertaining show
CHOREOGRAPHY & MUSICALITY (10 points) - Creative, original and interesting choreography on and off the pole displaying a strong connection to the music
AUDIENCE CONNECTION & SENSUALITY (10 points)
